ACT is a not-for-profit, nationally accredited, private agency that provides services to individuals with disabilities. Founded in 1975, ACT is recognized as an established organization effectively meeting the needs of persons with disabilities and their families. ACT provides programs and services throughout Mid-Missouri to hundreds of people annually. We recognize an person's right to choose their own path and that our role is to support those choices.
Our personalized support programs are designed to promote ACT's vision as an organization: an inclusive community where everyone belongs, participates, and is valued.
ACT's Community and Family Services (formally In-Home Services) support individuals with disabilities to participate, engage, and integrate into the community and fosters relationships by providing creative, flexible, and supportive services and resources.
