Founded in 1987, Children and Adults with ADHD (CHADD) is a national nonprofit organization that uses private and public resources to fulfill its mission of improving the lives of people affected by ADHD. CHADD provides support, education, and encouragement to individuals with ADHD, their families, educators, and the professionals who treat them. With the help of more than 10,000 members and 140 support groups across the country, as well as more than 1,000 volunteers, CHADD reaches out to individuals with ADHD, providing support right in their own community.
