We are a children's park that was founded 65 years ago by Merle Gunderson who believed in a place where children could come and play free of charge. We have been able to provide a free admission park for 65 years and will continue to do so for as long as we are able. We have a wide variety of storybook sets around the park that kids can enjoy either by playing on, taking pictures with, or using their imagination. We have recently started to add more interactive sets around the park with the help of our executive director. These sets have also allowed us to put sets in the park that children and adults of all abilities are able to enjoy as well. The start of this was our "All- Ability" set that was put in two years ago. We are open from memorial day to labor day each year. After our summer season ends, we are open select dates during the october and december month for our halloween and christmas events. These events help generate revenue for our park so that we may continue to be free for the summer.
