The Arkansas Community Branch was the launched by Joe and Jen in 2011 in downtown Siloam Springs, AR with family gatherings and art programming. Outgrowing the space, Joe and Jen had a vision for a space specifically designed to serve those with disability and their families. In 2019, they were able to do just that by building Ability Tree's first ever R.E.S.T. Center. A state-of-the-art building with specialized facilities designed to provide sensory-friendly environments and programming for individuals with disability and their families. Since then, Ability Tree has planted more Community Branches throughout the USA, with a vision to cultivate inclusive and supportive communities where individuals and families affected by disability can enjoy healthy relationships in their neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and churches. We aim to continue to do exactly that in Arkansas!
