Highland is holding a Caregiver Connect event on September 24th from 5-6:30. This is one of four planned events at Highland for families/caregivers of students with IEP or 504 plans to learn about/connect with district and community resources.    We are looking for 5-10 7-12th grade students that would be interested in volunteering to help with childcare during this event. Students who need academic help will meet you in the Commons.  This is a drop in activity, so you will just be "on call" for students who come.  The counselors will be supervising the Commons Wednesday afternoons if you need an adult.  Or you can always text me.

This is the Kiwanis Donut booth at the Dekalb County Fair. The Kiwanis Donut booth is in the middle of one of the blocks with the courthouse directly behind it (not the donut trailer on the corner near the rides).When you arrive, just let one of the Kiwanis members know that you are from Garrett High School (Key Club, NHS, or EdRising).
