SUMMARY
Reflection
Running food drive in my community gave me opportunity to give back to my community. In the process I learnt so much about how poverty impacts my community, how to drive and lead and inspire others for good cause. Results and experience motivated me to run more drives during summer.
Project Impact
I was able to get around 60% participation from houses in my neighborhood. I collected 150 plus items that included food and personal items that was donated to local food bank.

Once I decided that I will run food drive for Manna on Main in Lansdale, I used their website to read items they take and got thier phone number. I called them to confirm process for food drive. I did many follow up calls to learn how to learn food drive. Food Bank contact was very generous to share tips and tricks for successful food drive. I arranged delivery time with food bank and organized all food I collected so it can be transported to bank. I added the food to the car and it took some time to fit all of it for transport. Dropped it at manna on main and followed their procedures for delivery.
