Heavilin Elementary PTO is in need of volunteers to help out at our Swim & Gym on Friday, April 11 from 5:30-8:00pm at VHS. Volunteers are to report to the Field House at 5:30. We will need help running games in the field house and working at the refreshment area. 

Youth Night is a Community Education event for 4-6th Graders to hang out together- swimming, dancing, playing basketball, etc. You might be helping with games, tickets, or monitoring students. Please take time to interact with students to help their night be as fun as possible!

Rock the Block is a Habitat for Humanity led community cleanup that focuses on maintaining Habitat built communities. This opportunity offers 4 hours (9-1 pm). You will clean up any trash within the community or any other maintenance assigned by the coordinator on site.

Iron-Core's mission is to provide athletes with adaptations a six-week exercise program in order to help achieve their fitness goals. These programs are created by a group that consists of an undergraduate student (all grade levels) and a graduate student. We provide students the opportunity to learn more about the adaptive community while building skills related to patient care. Sign up for Earth Day help at the Art Barn on April 12th, 2025! Shifts are 2-3 hours long, if you work the 3 hour long one just edit your time but remember that we do check. Message me with any questions!Also, if you are under 18, email me, you need a waiver (that will be provided).

Volunteers will serve our elderly and homebound residents with light household and yard tasks.

We are putting together food boxes to be distributed to veterans and their families Saturday morning.

Work alongside our local Girl Scout troop to assist with their booth sales. Volunteers will be asked to assist with sales & approaching customers, sales etiquette, & assist in supervision (Parent will be there at all times).

Volunteers are needed at Marguerite's Pantry at Our Lady of Fatima. Set-up begins at 8:30 AM which is when the greatest number of volunteers are needed. Volunteers usually finish distributing bags of food to 300-500 families by early afternoon. Even if you can come for an hour or two, that would help. It is not necessary to show up at the exact start time or stay until the finish time, although there is always a need for a few extra bodies at breakdown time. Many hands make light work so pl...
