Come to the media center to help with drop in tutoring. There may or may not be students who need your help. You get the hours for being there for your service if needed.

After school study tables (tutoring) in the Media Center

Come and help the Metzenbaum staff work with individuals on training, practice and drills! This will take place by the circle drive. Volunteers should report to Josh Kain upon arrival.

Students who need academic help will meet you in the Commons.  This is a drop in activity, so you will just be "on call" for students who come.  The counselors will be supervising the Commons Wednesday afternoons if you need an adult.  Or you can always text me.

Join volunteers from the community to perform seasonal work at the farm. Be prepared for physical labor and the possibility of getting dirty. Wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing. Note: These volunteer nights are open to the community, not just high school students. Also, as a bonus, they feed everyone who volunteers!

Parkview Elementary would like a few members to watch children of parents attending the PTO meeting.  It would be a matter of just helping to entertain them so maybe more parents can attend.  Meetings are at 6 and last about an hour so you would arrive around 5:45pm.

Come and help senior citizens from our community with their technology questions. This new community ed initiative allows senior citizens to bring in their various technology devices to get help from you MHS kids. They may have questions about using their phones, logging into accounts, or FaceTiming their grandkids, and they need your expertise to help them! You will be excused from Advisory and can leave when the bell rings if you need to get to a practice.
