The Poway High School National Honor Society Chapter offers widespread tutoring opportunities to ensure that high-quality tutoring is available to all students free from barriers.

Night to Shine is such a fun event. This is a partnership event with FFA. If you are volunteering with FFA, sign up via them and not on Innerview. Anyone 16 or older can be a one-on-one buddy for this event.  There are also positions such as "paparazzi", which is cheering for the honored guests as they walk the red carpet into fellowship hall. In the Interschool Round, all students from a school work together on the same test and will submit a single answer sheet for the school. The Interschool Competition is divided into Junior and Senior Levels based on the participants' grade levels.  

The individual rounds are divided into 5 divisions: Explorer (Pre-Algebra), Mercury (Algebra I), Gemini (Geometry), Apollo (Algebra II), and Discovery (Comprehensive). Each student will compete in the level corresponding to their current math course or the next higher level.

Contest Rules: T-shirt contest entries will be accepted TBA. The winning design T-shirt will be available for purchase on a limited-time basis. Second Harvest has a mobile food pantry once a month and needs help unloading their semi full of food for families in need in the Beaver Dam area.  The event is done once the food is gone. Typically take around 2 hours, but need to be in place before the event begins.

We are putting together food boxes to be distributed to veterans and their families Saturday morning.
