Dr. Gossett needs help with passing out programs at graduation

Hello, members of NHS!  Whether you’re a part of the performing arts season or not, our PAC could use your help.  Sign up for one or both sessions to lend a hand with sorting lumber, hardware, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and generally tidying up the place after a busy year.  No experience necessary.  Don’t wear anything super nice – this work can be a little dusty and dirty.

We need 10 volunteers to help with the NHS Induction ceremony on Tuesday, May 19, from 6:45 am to about 9:00 am. Volunteers will be excused from classes. You should report to the West Campus Cafeteria at 6:45 am. You will help with setup, welcoming guests, and working certificate, program, and t-shirt/dues payment tables. Dress professionally or wear your NHS t-shirt!

Help Mrs. Nelson with folding or other odd jobs in the FCCLA room.

Volunteers will assist with water day games for elementary school,  This is EXAM day for 2nd block!

Junior are required to complete 2 homework helpers. Seniors are required to compete 1 homework helper.

Tutor Hammarskjold students for 1 hour at Hammarskjold. If you sign up on a day that we have an NHS meeting, you will NEED to come to the makeup meeting, otherwise it will STILL count as a missed absence.

DMS is bringing a small group of 4 8th graders to visit. If you are available to escort these students (with their teachers) to help them make a comfortable transition to the high school, sign up. Particularly sign up if you are a sophomore or junior. (Seniors: if you really, really need service hours, this would be an option for you as well.)The service hours for this event will count toward your 15 hour requirement for next year. Remember, you need to take part in at l...
