Before the Pack Away Hunger Event on Saturday, September 20th, a few people are needed to help with setting up the event! This will be from 4-6pm after school on Friday, September 19th.

Duties: Helping theater students (2nd-6th grade), selling concessions and souvenirs, helping with hair and make-up, backstage, etc.. Officer team building event to help decorate, serve dinner plates, and assist with the punch bowl at a special event for local senior residents. More than anything, we’d love for you to spend time talking with the residents, many don’t have family nearby, and your conversations can really brighten their night.   This is a great chance to earn volunteer hours and make a meaningful impact just by being kind and present. Come ready to help and to share some smiles!

Help the Friends of the Library raise money for the Manteno Public Library by working their fish fry.

After the hoco parade, meet at the middle school tables. You will walk the parade route to clean up trash, fallen candy, or other such debris. You will end up in Green Lot, so plan to walk.
