Sit by the main office and collect donations from parents for American Cancer Society! The purpose is to start advertising for Relay for Life that will be taking place this May.

HeART of Yukon Craft Festival is an annual event that brings vendors from across the state together. All proceeds the Church receives from the event are used to help others in need. No money collected is used for the Church.

This is a Stevenson NHSponsored opportunity that your parents MUST be informed about before attending. With Community Threads, we will be helping with tasks given to us to support the storefront. Community Threads is a thrift store organization under Home of the Sparrow that donates to provide resources to women and children.    We meet at 3:35 to leave at 3:40pm in Lot C (lower glass commons) and plan to return by 5:20pm.

Volunteer Reading Buddies will read with kids in 15 min increments.  For the most part the little kids will do all the reading with the Reading Buddy just listening and supporting, as needed.  If older kids are reading a chapter book, they can trade off pages with the Reading Buddy.

The HeART of Yukon Craft Festival is an annual event held at First United Methodist Church of Yukon.  There are three evenings that involve helping to set up for this event. There are a variety of activities involved, from marking off booth areas on the floor with painters tape to helping the church members move furniture. That is March 19th—21st. From 4 to 9, they will be checking in and out with Ginger in the office. 

MTHS NHS study buddy tutoring every Thursday evening from 5-7pm.  Although special requests for materials and content areas may be made by parents/guardians through a posted google form, this is an open-door offering. Operate the scoreboard for home Lacrosse games. Coordinate with the Athletic Director, Mr. Stewart, prior to the game.

During this event, there will be STEAM projects throughout the building for students to participate in with their families. You will be helping to facilitate various activities at stations throughout the school.
