The DuBois Challenger Baseball League is looking for volunteers to help during games this season! The Challenger Division of Little League accommodates participants with physical and intellectual disabilities ages 5-18 or until age 22 if the player is still in school. Dodgeville Kiwanis' need our help!  This is one of their largest fundraisers of the year and many hands are needed to make this a success.All hands on deck for this task!  We need to shuck about 1500 ears of corn.  In the summer of 2019, we set a record:  1h 20m to shuck 1500 ears of corn.  Key Clubbers - are you up for the challenge?!MANY MANY VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED for this fun task (really - it is a lot of fun :-)

Come volunteer with the Kiwanis every Thursday night to weed, water, and harvest the garden. If you are going to volunteer, text 203-770-7812 and let them know you are attending so they can let you know if they need to cancel due to weather - volunteering is canceled if it is thundering.

Volunteers will be playing board & card games with English learners and their families (Spanish, Russian and/or Ukrainian speakers). The goal is for students and families to learn and practice more English while engaging in fun activities. Dinner will be provided. The event is in the Eykyn room at the library.
