You will work with a specific teacher helping their students who need extra support in English. This is a commitment and not something you just drop in to do when your schedule allows.

Volunteers will sell bracelets, lanyards, book marks from Threads of Hope during lunch. This is a fundraiser where 50% of the profits are sent to the Threads of Hope Charity that promotes community development and educational programs in the Philippines.

Students will be helping to tutor students in grades 1-3 with homework.  May also be helping to set up materials for the week with the after school program. Meet in by the Campus Ministry Office by 2:45 pm -- a teacher will drive you and we will return to Carroll by 5:15 pm.

The Poway High School National Honor Society Chapter offers widespread tutoring opportunities to ensure that high-quality tutoring is available to all students free from barriers.
