An invitation to join us in packaging 50,000 nutritious meals for neighbors in need - hungry and food-insecure children, families, veterans, and seniors - in partnership with Romeoville Toyota and the community of Romeoville, Illinois.

Volunteer and walk alongside an adult with an intellectual or developmental disability during our 1-mile walk. Walking buddies provide encouragement, friendship, and support while enjoying a fun and healthy activity together. Every step makes a difference!

If you are able, please consider helping with the set up prior to the event itself. You will be setting up tables, and preparing all the stations needed to put 40,000 meals together.Please make sure you also sign up the waiver  https://act.riseagainsthunger.org/event/e804287.  

ALWAYS A CLUB FAV!!(Time is flexible so add or subtract as needed)What You'll Be Doing:An 18-wheeler carrying more than 3,000 pumpkins arrives at the church, and together we'll unload it by hand, bucket-brigade style, placing the pumpkins throughout the church lawn. The entire unload takes about 3–4 hours, and it's an energetic, rewarding experience filled with teamwork, laughter, and plenty of pumpkin spirit! Second Saturday Service is hosted by the Town of Fort Mill Stormwater Department as well as Anne Springs Greenway, and it entails volunteers sticking with a group of people to pick up trash in designated areas in need to support a cleaner and more sustainable community.Make sure to bring a water, a hat, and clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty or wet!You must sign up on the sign up genius link below:https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040a48a8a62ba5fa7-second#/

Help Kiwanis at their Apple Dumpling booth. You will need to dress in the clothing of the period, and the Kiwanis Club will get you what you need there (flannels and skirts). BOYS NEED TO WEAR JEANS AND GIRLS NEED TO WEAR SHORTS AND A WHITE SHIRT.You can sign up for multiple shirts and Kiwanis will reimburse you for parking, if needed.
