Do you enjoy gardening? Do you want to help keep Greensboro's public gardens looking beautiful? We are looking for a volunteer who is interested in devoting a couple of hours per week, as needed, to our gardens throughout the City. This is a great way to get outside, stay active, and give back to your community. After school study tables (tutoring) in the Media Center

This is a recurring activity that will run all year on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. You will meet in front of the House at 5:45 and help unload items from a TECC car, help carry items to the House, help prepare food, help serve residents of the House, and help with cleanup.

Each year, United Way of Lake County hosts our Youth United Way program, where local high school students learn about area nonprofits, engage in meaningful discussions, and help allocate $10,000 in real funding back into our community. Students find this to be a very powerful experience, and we even have students come back for a second (and even third year).
