This is the Kiwanis Donut booth at the Dekalb County Fair. The Kiwanis Donut booth is in the middle of one of the blocks with the courthouse directly behind it (not the donut trailer on the corner near the rides).When you arrive, just let one of the Kiwanis members know that you are from Garrett High School (Key Club, NHS, or EdRising).You may only sign up for the 2-5 shift on Mon, Tues, or Wed IF you are out of school before 2:00 PM! You are not excused to miss school to do this!

The Ranger Conservation Corps through NYC Parks aims to help students learn about Urban Ecology as well as give them opportunities to have hands-on experience in changing their own city. Their program begins at the end of September and we will have an informational meeting about why RCC exists, learn more about the mission, and how you can get involved. The meeting will be after school at 2:15pm. Attendance of this meeting will count as one service hour.

Join us as Symmes Elementary as we help elementary students learn fun games and good sportsmanship.

Join us at Symmes Elementary where we will assist students whose second language is English.  Symmes has a diverse population of students who come from a variety of countries and cultures.  Many of them do not have parents who speak fluent English.  You will be playing with them and assisting them with their homework and reading.

Ava Faga would like some help with her IB CAS project.  She is working to have a medical based club at BFMS on three separate dates and is hoping to have a few volunteers to help set up and work with the 6-8th graders It is for about an hour each time. You can contact her directly with any questions also.
